Thermoplastic Polyolefin Drill Press Cover

The thermoformed drill press cover was produced using composite based mold materials and thermoformable polyolefin plastic. The use of composite based mold materials allows the production of inexpensive tooling for production of low volume products.

Thermoformable Polyolefin (TPO) materials allows Arrowhead to manufacture parts that require a higher degree of formability and exceptional impact resistance. These physical properties are retained in both high and low temperature environments. By using TPO materials, Arrowhead provided our customer with a solution that dramatically reduced the damage that occurred during international shipping in cold weather.

Thermoplastic Polyolefin is used with products that require resistance to climate change and is readily available or can be custom formulated. TPO is available in all of the standard colors, textures and thicknesses.
